County U15 session Monday 1st December
Please be reminded that the County u15 Master-class sessions continue on Monday, December 1st from 7pm to 8:30pm, for any & all u15 players (boys born in 2000). These are skill development sessions, led by members of the professional Rugby Development staff, which take place on the first Monday each month.
The County Offaly session takes place in Tullamore RFC
The County Longford/County Westmeath session takes place in Mullingar RFC
The topic for this session is Continuity Through Contact to include pre-contact positioning to attack spaces, pre-contact evasion to go forward & win the contact area, fighting through contact to get hands (and the ball free), support players coming from depth and from inside & outside the ball carrier.
Please pass this message on to ALL your u15 players and to any coaches of stage 2 rugby (u13-u15) who I would encourage to attend. Should you have any especially advanced u14s (boys born in 2001) then please contact me to discuss their inclusion prior to sending them along.
Note:
There will be a fixture organised over the Christmas School holidays between Co.Offaly players and Co.Longford/Westmeath players which will act as part of the Player Identification process. Details will be confirmed ASAP
If you have any queries please don’t hesitate to contact me.
Regards
Derek Maybury
