Dear Coach / Coordinator,
Please remind all youth team coaches (u13 to u18) of details of the workshop on Game-Centred Approach to Coaching (GCA) as follows:
Date: Wednesday, October 21st
Venue: Tullamore RFC
Times: 19.30 – 21.00
Over the past 18 months, Development Officers from Leinster Rugby and a group of youth coaches from across the Province have been piloting this coaching approach with support from St Mary’s University, Twickenham. We are now in a position to outline our experiences to date and to bring details of this coaching approach to the wider coaching network.
The workshop will address

· The benefits/rewards of GCA
· The challenges of GCA
· GCA practice design
and we will demonstrate GCA in practice using local players
